Domestic & International Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

Please review each individual listing for the updated turnaround time. Shipping time is additional. If items with a shorter turnaround time are ordered with a longer turnaround time, the order will presume the longer turnaround time. Orders are not processed or shipped out during the weekend, or holidays.

Shipping rates and delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We ship primarily through USPS for domestic orders.  International orders are FedEx and UPS

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

The Pinned Prairie ships to addresses within the US, US Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. We also ship to international countries. Please note international shipments will be subject to custom fees and duty taxes, as implemented by your country. We are not responsible for these additional fees. 

Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped, within the specific turnaround time. 

International Customers: Customs, Duties, and Taxes

The Pinned Prairie is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer’s responsibility (including tariffs, taxes, and other costs).

International customers (outside of the United States) are responsible to pay any applicable inbound duties, taxes, and any other fees which your local Customs Authority deems appropriate. These fees are paid to your local carrier or government and are not collected by Belle Botanical Creations, and thus cannot be refunded.

We ship international packages DDU (duties and taxes unpaid), meaning that these fees are not included in the price of the goods you purchase from our website. All applicable fees must be paid by the recipient in order to receive the parcel. As we are unable to advise the amount of these fees, we recommend contacting your country's customs office or tax agent for respective charges and rates.

If the duties remain unpaid, the item might be returned to us, rendering it ineligible for a refund as we would then be required to cover the duties for its re-importation into the USA.

Damages

The Pinned Prairie is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact us to file a shipping insurance claim if shipping insurance was purchased. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

 

Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Refused Delivery

The Pinned Prairie will not be held responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package. Additional shipping charges will be the customer's responsibility for re-shipping an item. Cancellations and returns are still not accepted, in the event of this happening.

Please note, if a package is "returned to sender", neither postal companies prioritize those returns to sender, therefore meaning it could take weeks, to even many months forThe Pinned Prairie to receive the returned package. 

Navidium Shipping Insurance

Navidium is a shipping insurance company that covers packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.

WHAT WE DEEM AS LOST:

  • Shipment states ‘delivered’ but you have not received it. We ask that you allow up to 14 working days for your parcel to be delivered. Sometimes the courier prematurely marks it as delivered and tries a redelivery, it turns up in a secure location at your property or it may be at your neighbors.

  • A shipment will be considered "Delayed" or "Stuck" if it has not arrived at the designated destination and has not been updated with new tracking information for a period exceeding 14 consecutive days from the last recorded tracking update.

  • We reserve the right to classify your shipment as a ‘delay’ if there is a high volume of parcels in the network and we are aware of delays

WHAT WE DEEM AS DAMAGED:

  • Items arrive damaged in transit

  • Some of your order is missing due to the box/packet opening in transit 

Please contact us immediately if your items have arrived damaged or something is missing. Submit photographic evidence of tampered items.

WHAT WE DO NOT COVER:

  • Order marked as unfulfilled or unshipped. This may be due to our posted turnaround times. 

  • Incorrect Address: The provided shipping address is incorrect or incomplete.

  • Weather Conditions: Severe weather can delay transportation or make delivery impossible causing delayed transit. 

  • Natural Disasters: Events such as earthquakes, floods, or hurricanes can disrupt delivery routes and delays in transits.

  • Customs Delays: For international shipments, items can be held up in customs for inspection. Please get in touch with your chosen courier and pay required customs fees. If you refuse customs payments, we are not liable for any return to sender fees, and these will be deducted from your refund

  • Recipient Unavailable: The recipient is not available to receive the package, or no secure location is available for drop-off.

  • Holiday Closures: Businesses or delivery services may be closed during holidays.

  • Alternative Pickup Required: In some cases, the package cannot be delivered to the recipient’s house and instead must be picked up at a designated location. This can happen due to:

    • Recipient Unavailable: Multiple failed delivery attempts when the recipient is not home.

    • Secure Delivery: The package requires a secure delivery, and no safe place is available to leave it.

    • Restricted Access: The delivery address has access restrictions that prevent the driver from completing the delivery.

 

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR CLAIM:

A member of our customer service team will assist you within 24-48 hours, during regular business hours of Monday-Friday 8am-4pm PST. What to include in your claim email: 

  • Subject line: SHIPPING PROTECTION CLAIM for order #12345 (This can be found in your order email)

  • Description of your issue

  • Photo evidence of damage if applicable

By selecting Navidium shipping protection, you agree to these terms. 

We ask that you do not get in touch with us regarding a missing parcel until the allotted time (10 days) has passed for it to be deemed as lost.

OUR POLICY FOR UNPROTECTED PARCELS:

We will follow the claims policy with your selected courier to either locate your parcel or deem it as lost. This may take 6-8 weeks and is at the discretion of the courier. We will be unable to provide a replacement or refund. 

If your parcel has a GPS location or photographic evidence that it has been delivered to your property, is with a neighbor or at a secure location, we are not responsible for a refund or replacement.
